About Eris

Eris is a Space Cat with Blue Fur, and a big fluffy spotty tail. He has a star pattern in his fur around his right eye, and a blue stripe on his left ear that he painted on to be seen better. He likes to wear a hood and a little cape for better visibility in the dark, but mainly for looks.

Named after the Dwarf Planet, Eris loves Astronomy. Every night he likes to go out and stargaze and hates when clouds cover the stars. He also loves to go exploring for new things. Usually hiking or travelling to different cities. He is a happy cat that loves everyone around him, and is happy to have his friends near him.

LORE

Eris was made, not created. He is the result of human scientist experiments on cats to research a way to resurrect humans to live forever, known as the Eros Project. The Scientists chose to experiment with Cats instead of Rats because the rats kept exploding in the earlier experiments, Cats were found to be the most stable during and after testing. Eris was made from a cat body infused with elements found from the Solar System’s Oort Cloud. Eris is Experiment #95, and the final experiment from the Eros Project.

Experiment #95 went wrong in just about every way possible. The early tests show highly unstable readings and a possibility of “something catastrophic” happening if the experiment wasn’t called off immediately. The Scientists didn’t listen, they responded saying they were at the cusp of a breakthrough and decided to proceed anyway. As the tests went on, the experiment grew increasingly unstable.

On the final test, they were putting the experiment through a machine that would combine everything into a single entity, in the hopes that the cat would be alive once more. As they put the experiment in the machine, the experiment suddenly showed signs of life. Its eyes snapped open, and after about 1.3 seconds of scanning its surroundings, grabbed one the scientist’s hands, and ripped it off as they were about the shut the door to the machine. They slammed the door shut, and the machine started unexpectedly as a scientist was bleeding out from the new nub that once had their hand. The machine started bleed light as it looked like it was going to explode, the scientists tried to either flee or hide in fears of what was going to happen. The machine exploded, killing all the Scientists, and the room they were in. But the creature that walked out was unlike anything they could’ve imagined their technology was capable of.
